The Goldfinch
A new identity and label designs for Goldfinch Whisky Merchants core range The Goldfinch.
A selection of five single casks of unpeated Speyside and Highland malts, mainly at 13 or 14 year old. The range name, “Bodega Series”, identifies their dedication to use only the finest sherry casks which previously held Oloroso, Amontillado or PX to mature the whisky and further develop the character.
Collectively known as a ‘charm’, and a prevalent symbol in art through the ages, the goldfinch represents prosperity, optimism and variety.
We chose a beautiful sea grass green and a gold foil with a traditional label design to emphasise that our focus is on quality. The label highlights that the single malt, single cask whisky is natural in colour, non-chill filtered and cask strength. The limited number of bottles and type and size of sherry cask used is also listed.
