Expo Milano

We were extremely honoured to have been approached by Felice Limosani to work on two murals for The Expo Milan. In the UK, we have designed artistic installations on commission for top brands so this was definitely going to be a thing of beauty.

We teamed up with London based Good Wives & Warriors to help us work on this 10m x 8m mural with the theme, unsurprisingly, being “Food”, with the idea of “Future Seas”, a timescale of the last 100 years of sealife.

“The relationship between art and food, will be one of the major topics covered by Expo Milano 2015 – said Limosani – In this perspective, the pavilion presents on the facade, the artistic performance” Cibus Infabula “that combines street art and video art in thirteen site specific works, inspired by food, nutrition and the planet. For the duration of the Expo, the international graffiti artist (as Masaru Ishiura from Japan, Destrukt from the UK, the Italian Agostino Jacurci) live paint by creating murals combined with a video installation of great visual impact. Two contemporary expressive languages to reflect, to raise awareness and represent the food culture through creativity.”
